90, of St. Petersburg, Florida, and formerly of Point Pleasant, New Jersey passed away September 6, 2017. She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Patrick and Margaret (Regan) Kenney, September 27, 1926. She graduated from St. Mary's in Woodbridge, NJ and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Notre Dame College in New York. Pat began her teaching career in Colonia, NJ but soon moved her family to Ocean County, closer to her favorite beaches. Patricia K. Terasaka

90, of St. Petersburg, Florida, and formerly of Point Pleasant, New Jersey passed away September 6, 2017. She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Patrick and Margaret (Regan) Kenney, September 27, 1926. She graduated from St. Mary's in Woodbridge, NJ and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Notre Dame College in New York. Pat began her teaching career in Colonia, NJ but soon moved her family to Ocean County, closer to her favorite beaches. She continued teaching kindergarten for 37 years in the Point Pleasant School System, building life-long friendships and enjoying singing and dancing in many productions with her fellow teachers and community members.

An advanced bridge player, Pat enjoyed playing several times a week with friends at home and with the bridge clubs at the Madeira Beach Elks, Boca Ciega Point, and St. Jerome's Church, where she was a member. Also a member of the Suncoast Opera Guild and the Largo Elks, Pat enjoyed the social events and especially the dancing,

She was predeceased by her husbands, Edward Tooker and Arthur Terasaka; sons, Kenneth Tooker and Robert Tooker; son-in-law, George Smitte; and step daughter Amy Terasaka Green. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Tooker Smitte, and her children Jaime, Jake, and partner Chelsea, and her sons Jonathan and Jeremiah, all of Seminole, Florida; daughter, Mary Tooker Ackerman, her husband Buzz and son Max, all of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Kristine Tooker, and her son Caleb both of Vermont. She is also survived by her step daughter, Barbara Terasaka of West Windsor, New Jersey; and step son, David Terasaka, and his daughter, Katherine, of Baldwinsville, New York.

A mass and celebration of life will be held at St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church in Largo, Florida on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 2pm in the Chapel. Interment will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Sea Girt, New Jersey.
