Dee Estelle Zasso (Dolly), age 87 wife of the late Alexander Joseph Zasso, passed away peacefully in Saint Petersburg, Florida on Tuesday October 11, 2016.

Dee worked for many years in the banking industry and lived in New York State prior to retiring to Florida. She was the eldest of nine children and was very close to her siblings. Her many hobbies included buying and selling vintage jewelry, and traveling. Her favorite mode of exploring was cruising, she had an adventurous spirit and relished seeing the wider world. Dee Estelle Zasso (Dolly), age 87 wife of the late Alexander Joseph Zasso, passed away peacefully in Saint Petersburg, Florida on Tuesday October 11, 2016.

Dee worked for many years in the banking industry and lived in New York State prior to retiring to Florida. She was the eldest of nine children and was very close to her siblings. Her many hobbies included buying and selling vintage jewelry, and traveling. Her favorite mode of exploring was cruising, she had an adventurous spirit and relished seeing the wider world. She was a consummate hostess and held many memorable family celebrations at her home in Lake Carmel, NY.

Dee is survived by her children: Gail (Nathan), Daniel (Linda), Barbara, and Charles (Connie); her grandchildren: Nicole (Brian), David, Erica (Joseph), Alex, Julia, and Sarah; her great-grandchildren: Emerson and Luke; her siblings: Charles, Raymond, Gloria, Shirley and Margie; and many much loved nieces and nephews.

Dee was preceded in death by Alexander, her beloved husband of 62 years; her parents: Charles and Estelle; and her siblings: Jeanette, Marie, and Joan.
She will be especially remembered for her selfless devotion and care toward her cherished daughter Barbara.

Funeral services will be held at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, Florida 33774 on Sunday October 16, 2016 at 1 PM.
